Cameron John- Wentzville, MO

Cameron John- Wentzville, MO

Apparently Cameron John  talked a teenager out of his great dane puppy. Cameron John subsequently posted the dog for sale on Craig's list for $750.00, stating the dog was fully registered.
The teenager, Michael, found the dog on Craig's list, confronted Cameron John, and after a lot of back and forth, Michael got his dog back.

Here are the conversation screenshots, in no apparent order. (Hey, we post them like we get them.)

-------------------------

So these two may not need any introduction in some circles but they've graduated to making our permanent list and prompting us to make a shout out to our subscribers.

According to Lexie...

Lexie XXXX This guy and his girlfriend/wife have been doing this for about 6 years. They go saying they want to give a puppy a loving home, even take their kids, then usually post it for hundreds of dollars more as soon as they leave with it. They're awful. I'm so sorry you went through this :(

By Mr. Risley's own account, he's a real life pet flipper. I mean, doesn't 2,000 puppies qualify this guy for the title?

Sure isn't very appreciative of his customer either. Dipshits, huh?

Without posting a bazillion screenshots in this post, here's a pretty nice collage we found that lays it all out pretty well. (Nice job to whoever put this together. Speak up, we'll give you props! Have any others you would like to share?)

Apparently in October '18 he was in search of some puppies under the alias Jeremy Thomas.

After he's all butt hurt and makes his speech, because you know, lies.........the following pops up.

Guess he found those pups he was looking for.

And now, for the low, low, fee of $350.00! You know- because it was so hard to go on social media and find free or cheap pups because you had to have just the right ones, and turned down so many searching...hard work.

Now before anyone says,"How can you be so sure that Jeremy Thomas is really Kevin Clayton Risley?", take a breath. You have to dig around a little bit.

I'd say the beautiful children in the previous screen shot holding those equally adorable puppies are the same children pictured here, with their mother, Lacey Ostrom

And unless Lacey has a side guy names Jeremy with whom she shares a couple of kids, we think that Jeremy is in fact Kevin.

And Kevin, posting as Risley Clayton Junior, seems pretty proud of them too.

By now some of you are flipping your wigs because we posted these pics with kids in them. Get over it as you look at the status marks on each one. They are posted publicly on Facebook

If Kevin and Lacey aren't worried about posting their children's images online for the world to see, then neither are we.

Let's continue.

Lacey apparently uses an alias to cruise social media looking for deals.

She'll only pay a small rehoming fee because, well, you know, anything much will cut into that profit margin. It's not like she's looking to give a pet a home or anything like that.

Kevin has a criminal history And that might not be an issue except it includes larceny.

Definition: [ noun ] (law, criminal law) the act of taking something from someone unlawfully.

People wonder how many of those trailer park puppies he picks up are really given to him or he just rolls by and gathers up whatever pup will hop in the car for a hot dog. We think that is a legitimate question. How many owned pets has this couple stolen and flipped?

How many dogs have they sold under false pretense?

Julia XXX Son of a bitch got me too! My husband is about to deploy to Afghanistan and wanted me to have a protection dog. He showed up in full uniform and this ass hole still scammed him. Love my dog but he is not the 80lbs protector we were promised... instead he's a 35lbs mutt. Unpatriotic, lying sack of shit.
Selling something to someone under false pretenses is fraud. If someone sells you a dog and tells you it is a German Shepherd and weeks or months down the road it becomes painfully obvious that you have been duped you can contact your local prosecutor's office, the Better Business Bureau, and the Attorney General in your state and file a complaint.

It doesn't make any difference if you feel stupid for not knowing a German Shepherd pup from a mutt or not; you have been sold a lie. That is fraud. That is illegal. File a complaint.

One complaint might not turn any heads, but if someone like Kevin here gets multiple complaints, someone, somewhere is going to pay attention especially since he has a record for committing larceny. And if Kevin has gone through a couple thousand dogs surely Julia is not the only person who has a legitimate complaint.

Something else to consider is that while there may not be any state laws broken by simply acquiring (not necessarily stealing) and reselling pets, most state laws do prohibit a pet from being transported across state lines without a rabies vaccination.

It would be surprising if any of these animals had any vetting other that what Kevin and Lacey can pull off at home. Rabies vaccinations are only considered legal if administered by a licensed veterinarian.
