Acquires and flips animals in all areas mentioned through buy/sell/trade/yard sale pages on FB and throughout Craig’s List.
Lisa poses as a licensed rescue to acquire animals as well as offering to foster animals for shelters, rescues, and individuals.
Lisa is also a scam artist beyond the flipping of animals setting up gofundme accounts and claiming the money goes to charities such as the American Cancer Society. She also claims that the money she makes from flipping animals is donated to charities.

The most recent scam was a gofundme account for veterinary expenses for two pit bulls that were supposedly stabbed but when references were checked the dogs were found to be in excellent health.
It is possible she is currently running an operation called "Pit Crew Rescue".
Lisa has been banned from adopting/pulling any dogs from ANY shelter in the Charlotte, NC area.
Four or so years ago she ran an illegal rescue off of Shopton Rd in Charlotte, and was closed down. She vanished from the area shortly after. The dogs she had in the house she called a RESCUE were sick, loaded with fleas, malnourished and had no water except dirty mop water. They were stuffed in cages, too many to a cage! It was heartbreaking.
This girl has been in some serious trouble with the law for her animal flipping transactions. Not only does she troll buy/sell/trade pages to acquire animals, she poses as a rescue and pulls animals from shelters and rescues. Read more about it here: https://

More than 60 neglected dogs, newborn puppies, rescued from waste-filled shack

LENOIR, N.C. — Dogs and puppies varying breeds and sizes were rescued after being neglected in a shack with a floor covered in feces, urine, mud and trash on a property in Caldwell County.
"When the animals were fed, it was out of a trough, forcing them to compete for food," said a release from the ASPCA.
Other rescued animals included livestock and poultry, who were found living among piles of trash, according to officials.
The rescued animals were transported to Caldwell County Animal Control, where they were given medical exams before being relocated to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal control to be made available for adoption.
“The woman who owned the animals, Lisa Marie Hendren Meatyard, was charged with felony cruelty to animals and allowing animals to live in crowded or unsanitary conditions, a misdemeanor,” said a release from the ASPCA.
This isn’t the first time Meatyard has been charged with animal cruelty. Last year, according to officials, she was charged with five misdemeanor counts of cruelty to animals. She was convicted in October and appealed, but later remanded the appeal as part of a plea agreement to felony charges.
More than 60 dogs, including newborn puppies, were rescued from neglect in a waste-filled shack in Caldwell County.
“On Tuesday, she agreed to plea surrendering all of her animals, which included goats, a goose, ducks, cows, roosters, an iguana, and a rat, in addition to the dogs, and 18 months’ probation, during which time she cannot own, possess, or control any animals,” said the ASPCA in a release.

Lisa was convicted for indecent Liberties with a child and admitted to DOC March 09, 2021. Her expected release date is Nov. 14, 2022

ReplyDeleteShe operating out of a small 2br trailer in Morganton North Carolina she drives a silver brown 4 door Chevy/GMC pickup with a smashed front bumper. She is still obtaining and selling puppies dogs rabbits and offering to spay and neuter for low income family's for an "very doable fee" This individual has to be stopped no question about it. The animals she has in her possession are in very bad health. She has unto 30 dogs in her house as of October 1st. Poor dogs have access to (when she chooses too let them out) an 10x10 fenced in space that is connected to her back door. The small from animal feces in urine is so overwhelming that when you step onto her property it gags you.

ReplyDeleteshe has not been arrested in a long time and every time animal control has gone out there they say there is nothing wrong and that everything is up to standards and they cant do anything.

ReplyDeleteShe is still active in this ring of lies and has secured 3 baby calfs a set of pigs and 40 or so dogs, please someone do something she isn't safe to be an animal owner nor should she be practicing vet operations and meds. She isn't licensed or knowledgeable in any aspect of spaying/neutering/ medicating or adopting. It's sick how she and her family including her kids live with all this abuse of the animals.
